People met on my backpacking114 – Krabi, Thailand
Today, we had a daily tour of Four Islands that we applied to our hotel yesterday. The travel agency picked us up at 9 a.m. with other travelers. The driver went around five or six more hotels in Krabi Town to pick up all the applicants and set off for Aunang.
We arrived at the beach after running for about 30 minutes. The travel agent handed us over to another local travel agency and left saying he would come back to pick us up at 4 p.m. As everyone gathered, there seemed to be about 30 people, and their nationalities were diverse. What they had in common in my eyes was the moderate tension and excitement that all challenged newness.
As the ferry left the coast, the beautiful scenery of the sea and islands was revealed one after another. The strange forms of islands were proudly showing their faces over the clear blue sea. They were cute and beautiful islands. The water was so clear that I could see the bottom of the sea. Our ferry docked on the white sand of an island. A wonderful island in front of me, which was mistaken for James Bond Island in 007, stood tall. Actually, it was bigger and cooler than the island in the movie. It actually was. I also knew for the first time that tropical fish love bananas so much. It was very interesting and fun. My wife used bananas as bait to gather pretty tropical fish and played together for an entire hour. Looked pretty good to me.
An hour of free time was over. The guide stopped the ferry at a depth of 5 to 6 meters. He told us that swimmers or divers can enjoy it. The diving height was about seven to eight metas. Most of them, including myself, enjoyed swimming in life jackets. Four or five people chose to dive. The moment I saw them, I felt a strong urge to dive. Actually, I gave up because I knew my wife would object if I said I wanted to dive. I dodged my wife's eyes and climbed to the deck upstairs. I jumped into the sea in a standing position.
I instinctively jumped into the sea with my left hand holding the main part of the body, my right hand holding my nose...Oh no~ I forgot to take the goggles off my head. As soon as I entered the water, my goggles escaped my forehead and ran away. I saw my goggles sink into the water, but I couldn't get them out. The guide asked me for 1000 baht for the goggles. When I asked if it was that expensive, he didn't answer for a while. Suddenly my wife asked him how about 600 baht. He said OK without hesitation. I saved 400 baht thanks to my wife. In fact, I almost lost 1,000 baht because I caused a problem without my wife knowing. Anyway, Krabi was a wonderful trip that left me and my wife many memories in many ways.
Thank you.
