As a starting point, it would be helpful to have South Korea reengage on North Korean human rights problems being discussed in the UN Human Rights Council and the General Assembly. It would also be helpful to have quiet discussions with the United States so we can coordinate our efforts on these issues. Clearly South Korea is closest to this problem, and the U.S. would benefit from cooperation with South Korea.
