I dispute the arguments against the death penalty.
As of August 11, 2023 (Namwiki), the following countries are executing: Nigeria, South Sudan, Taiwan, the United States, Malaysia, Myanmar, Bahrain, Bangladesh, Vietnam, Belarus, Botswana, North Korea, Saudi Arabia, Somalia, Sudan, Syria, Singapore, United Arab Emirates, Afghanistan, Yemen, Oman, Jordan, Iraq, Egypt, India, Indonesia, Japan, China, Qatar, Thailand, Pakistan, Pakistan.
Among these, the United States, Taiwan, Malaysia, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Iran, India, Japan, China, and Thailand must be noted.
First, with the exception of China, all of these countries have adopted capitalism and a market economy.
Second, the execution of these nations doesn't involve direct criticism from the international community, a halt of trade relations, or the imposition of sanctions—such as economic sanctions—while damaging their own national interests.
Third, Korea is under a state of ceasefire with the N. Korea, which has invaded S. Korea, in contrast to these other nations. Since then, the N. Korean regime has publicly proclaimed its desire to immediately unite the communist country while social unrest and conflict persist in S. Korea by threatening South Korea with nuclear weapons.
1) Korea should put national security first in light of this fact. They have not forgotten the historical lesson that if they lose their nation, they lose everything, which explains this. In fact, all nations that neglected national security and placed a higher priority on the economic, like abundance, have failed when analyzing the development and fall of historical empires like the Roman Empire and the Song Dynasty.
2) As a result, economic progress is crucial in Korea, but social discipline should not be compromised. In other words, when the rule of law fails, social turmoil ensues, followed by division and national security breakdowns. We are unable to safeguard Korea.
3) These are among the primary causes of the nation's loss. They are the demagogues, crooks, leftists who propagate false information, and they are the professionals in lying who undermine and polarize society.
4) Murderers and other criminals are the ones that feed this. Executions are essential because of this. Better results come faster. The economy will stabilize and society will return to normal if anxiety goes away.
5) Some claim that the EU is to blame for South Korea's inability to carry out the death penalty. In other words, the argument goes that if South Korea applies the death sentence, the EU would stop doing business with South Korea, which will have a negative impact on the Korean economy.
6) Obviously, it may be. However, everything has a ranking. The cornerstones and pillars that promote national security are a sound social base and stability. This is due to the fact that if this falls, economic failure will follow suit immediately.
7) I have a question for the EU. Have you ever said that you will cease commerce with the execution nations other than Korea? If not, why not?
8) You are aware that the majority of African and developing countries do not carry out executions. So, have you ever backed or purchased their goods while endangering your own national interests?
9) Can you give up cutting-edge items and technology such as memory chips in Korea when the Republic of Korea starts execution, even if they are advantageous to your national interests? Can you also disregard the Republic of Korea, a G7 member and economic powerhouse?
10) This is the final query. What are your top priorities for national strategy? Are you willing to reveal it if it's better than national security?
Thanks.
