People met on my backpacking (248) - Japan Compared to Korea
The Okinawa Underground Naval Command was not located on a level terrain. It was a hilly place. Cause that their soldiers and enemy' whereabouts were easily understood, and there were no communication difficulties. It was an ideal strategic fortress. A memorial stone has been placed on a nearby hill, and the observation deck provides a panoramic view. During the previous Ryukyu Kingdom, a beacon was built here.
The old Naval Command's exhibition area vividly showcased historical military equipment and weaponry. We descended the steps 30 meters beneath. There was an orderly operating room, a barracks room, a code room, a medical office, a sergeant's office, and a commander's office. However, only 300 meters of this tunnel were exposed, with the remaining 150 meters being an unreported segment. What astonished me was Japan's scientific spirit both then and now. It was strong, accurate, and comprehensive civil engineering and architecture.
They constructed a naval command via a rock wall deep below at the time, despite the lack of necessary equipment. It was said that 2,400 remains were recovered from this region following the conflict. The more I watched of the Japanese combat, the more I realized how dreadful the atmosphere and conditions were at the moment. The world is aware of their misdeeds. The world condemned this as a war crime against humanity. They swore in such a low voice that Japan was unable to hear them.
No other country in the world look down on Japan, violate its sovereignty, or invade its territorial seas. No, they can't. Why? Because they're terrified. Not just America, but also China, Russia, the United Kingdom, France, and Japan. Why? Cause they remember the brutal wars against Japan. There's one exception. It's people are shamefully can't condemn China, Russia, and N.K for unlawfully invading their country, treating it as a slave, and maintaining such an mentality.
Thanks for reading.
